1. The price engine is a separate service
It generates ticks and publishes them. It has no read access to positions, balances or exposure, because it runs as its own process with its own configuration. An engine that cannot see your trade cannot price against it.
How to check: the tick stream is public. Open the terminal without signing in and watch the same series every other account is watching.
2. Settlement happens on the server, never in your browser
The number your chart draws and the number your contract settles against are the same archived tick, read back by sequence number. The front end renders it; it never decides it.
How to check: open a settled contract and replay it. The exit spot shown is the tick the settlement used, at the sequence number it used.
3. Every balance change is append-only
Wallet movements are written to a ledger that is only ever added to. A correction is another entry, not an edit. That is what makes a statement reconcilable months later.
How to check: export your statement from Reports. Every line has a reference and a running balance that has to add up.
4. Contracts are replayable after the fact
A finished contract can be played back tick by tick, showing entry, the barrier if it had one, and the exact tick it settled on. This is how you check our arithmetic instead of taking it on trust.
5. The markets do not close
Twenty-eight indices, every day of the year, at a fixed cadence. No weekend gap, no holiday, no opening auction. The trade-off is the one in the risk note below: constant availability is also constant opportunity to lose money, which is why the limits controls exist.
Read the glossary first
Contracts settle on precise definitions. Knowing them is most of the skill.
Then set your limits
Stake ceiling, daily loss limit and self-exclusion, before you fund anything.
Risk. Synthetic indices are volatile by design. It is possible to lose your whole stake on any single contract, and losses can accumulate quickly at short durations. Trade the demo account until you can explain, before you buy, exactly how a contract settles and what it pays.
Check it on the demo
The demo runs on the same engine and the same settlement path, so everything above is testable before any money is involved.
